Making a Photo Color Wheel

A Color Wheel is used to help organize color and demonstrate how they all relate to one another. Some key terms to remember are...

1) Primary Colors

3) Tertiary Colors

4) Complementary Colors

Artwork Submission Oppurtunities

Below are some interesting opportunities for you to submit your photos (some allow artwork other than just photos). 

1) Teen Ink

Teen Ink has no staff writers; we depend completely on you to send writing, art, and photos. There is no charge to submit or be published. All submissions will be considered for publication in Teen Ink’s print magazine and website.

Submissions are ongoing- there is no deadline


2) CelebratingArt.Com Student Art Competition

CelebratingArt.Com is a nationally recognized website that awards students and schools for their artistic accomplishments. With three art contests annually, students get the chance to have their work published and win school supplies for their school.

3) Duggal 2018 Capture The Moment Photo Contest

In Duggal’s 2018 Capture the Moment Contest, we invite you to submit for consideration, a photo of one captured moment. Your image provides a unique record of one moment of inspiration. The story it tells may be abstract, concrete, internal or external – it’s up to you. Capture the moment.

4) The Adelaide Law School 2018 Photographic Competition
This year entrants will be judged on their creative interpretation of justice through “Law and Politics – alternative facts”.

The competition challenges entrants to capture the essence of justice through the lens of a camera and invites entries from three categories: student, community and professional photographer.
